Review: Wet n Wild Megalast Lipsticks

Megalast Lipsticks from Wet n Wild are not a new product by any stretch, in fact they’ve been available for a number of years already but I only discovered them for myself about 6 months ago.  I bought a few shades to try and they have very quickly become some of my favourite lipsticks.  Usually I find matte lipstick to be too drying but these are more of a demi-matte finish.  They are a really comfortable formula, are highly pigmented and last really well on the lips.  I can usually get at least 4 – 5 hours of wear before needing to re-apply.

If you’re looking for an affordable, long lasting lipstick I’d definitely recommend you give these a try.  I have bought 7 shades, Bare it All and Cherry Picking being my favourites.  Here are swatches of the shades I have:

  1. Stoplight Red
  2. Cherry Picking
  3. 24 Carrot Gold
  4. Smooth Mauves
  5. In the Flesh
  6. Spiked with Rum
  7. Bare It All

The Wet n Wild brand is cruelty-free and is available exclusively at Clicks in South Africa.  Click here to shop the range. The Megalast lipsticks are priced at R60, however there are often 3 for 2 promotions so if you wait for one of those you’ll get an even better deal on an already super affordable lipstick!
