Whether you’re a newbie to makeup or a total ninja, we all need a bit of help sometimes. This is a list of websites that could come in handy:
How many times have you bought foundation in the wrong colour only to end up looking like Casper in a shade too light or an Oompa Loompa in a shade that’s too warm for your skin tone? I’m pretty sure we’ve all been there but using Findation will help you find comparable shades across multiple brands and can be especially helpful when ordering online without being able to use in-store testers.
Cosmetics have a limited shelf life and depending on the type of product this can be anything ranging from 3 months up to 36 months after which the product is considered expired and should no longer be used. When you have a healthy (or unhealthy… whichever way you look at it) sized makeup collection, it can become quite difficult to stay on top of each of these expiry dates. Use this cosmetic calculator to keep track.
This can be an incredibly helpful website if you have sensitive and/or acne prone skin. You can search for products, look up their ingredient lists and there are additional columns which rate the safety of each ingredient as well as the likelihood of it causing irritation or acne. This could be very useful when trying to pinpoint which ingredients may not work well for your skin.
Please feel free to share any websites that you find useful, I’d love to add them to the list!
